Baby swimming with Water Babies is an exciting, enriching experience for both you and your little one. Not only does it teach vital life skills, but it also enhances the way babies and toddlers learn other skills, too. No one else reaches our high standards of professionalism, and no one else works harder to make sure you and your little one feel happy and safe. And we always incorporate lots of bonding, fun and socialising, so you can be sure that a Water Baby is a happy baby!
Classes across Surrey North & South are run by Melissa Holt, who was a keen swimmer as a child and swam competitively in her teens, sometimes swimming up to three times a day! So when she was introduced to Water Babies at a local baby group, her immediate reaction was “So when can I start?”
She knew immediately that she’d found something really special, and less than three months after first dipping her toe in the water she found herself teaching her very own classes. “Out of all the baby activities on offer, the only one which offers a life skill is swimming. Two out of my three children were born in water,” she explains, “and they all started swimming at just a few months old – true water babies in every sense!”
While Melissa is in the pool, husband Mike still has his feet firmly on dry land, running things in the office and poolside. Both love the great outdoors – exploring the local forests with the children, swimming (obviously!) and eating out once a week as a family, where the children take great delight in ordering their own food!
They’d love to hear from you, so why not give them a call? You can find them on Facebook at Water Babies (North Surrey), where you'll find a warm welcome waiting for you.
