Baby swimming with Water Babies is an exciting, enriching experience for both you and your little one. Not only does it teach vital life skills, but it also enhances the way babies and toddlers learn other skills, too. No one else reaches our high standards of professionalism, and no one else works harder to make sure you and your little one feel happy and safe. And we always incorporate lots of bonding, fun and socialising, so you can be sure that a Water Baby is a happy baby!
Classes in Norfolk are run by Kim Bennett who, with more than 20 years under her belt, is one of Water Babies' most experienced teachers. Her empathy and knowledge mean she plays a key role in the continual development of the company (she co-wrote our baby programme) and we're delighted that she's also a senior national tutor on our training programme.
Kim was our very first teacher, in Leeds, before relocating with her partner, Mark and their son, Frankie to set up classes in Norwich. Taking Frankie to lessons from birth meant that Mark became equally evangelical about the merits of baby-swimming. Having done a huge amount to help the success of the business in the early days, he's now gone back to his previous career and these days just experiences the classes as a dad again, with son Miller and the newest addition to the family, daughter Arabella.
Since starting in 2005, the business has gone from strength to strength and now teaches more than 950 babies and toddlers a week across Norfolk. The wonderfully enthusiastic Emma and Caroline are the friendly voices in the office, while a team of highly qualified teachers - Sarah, Sadie, Laura, Miranda, Hazel, Leanne, Cat, Briony, Anna and Vicki – completes the Water Babies crew.
They’d love to hear from you, so why not give them a call? You can find them on Facebook at Water Babies (Norfolk), or join their Facebook Group where you'll find a warm welcome waiting for you.
