Welcome to Water Babies; we are delighted that you are interested in baby swimming and giving your baby an amazing start in life.
We live in your Baby's world; you and your baby are individuals and our aim is to teach you and your baby as individuals when we are teaching you in your class. We are here to work with you.
Do call us on 01295 709221 too find our more or email us on email@example.com if you would like us to call you - just provide us with a contact number and the name and age of your baby!
Our programme is continuous, moving from term to term as your child progresses; our new classes normally begin in September, November, February and May - your little one can join us up and including week 3 of the term; This is why our new babies cannot start at any point in the classes as they will miss the earlier progressions.
We teach in the areas of Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Bedford, Banbury, Northampton, Luton, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury Our lessons are 30 minutes long and include attendance on our lovely underwater photoshoot and a magical journey book in which you can record your baby's achievements. Our teachers are the most qualified baby swimming teachers holding a Diploma qualification from Swim England - can you believe that?
We run baby swimming classes in the following areas:
Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Banbury, Northampton, Bedford, Leighton Buzzard, Wendover, Hemel Hempstead, Dunstable, Luton and Buckingham,
DW Sports in Dunstable - our new pool for May 2017! Situated just outside Dunstable, this is a lovely pool on the business park so there is lots of parking too!. The pool has large changing rooms and the pool is all the same depth. There is no viewing on poolside but there is a lovely cafe which you are welcome to use. Classes are on Thursday afternoons. Do come and join us!
We have also introduced some pool towels and robes - they are brilliant and they even have bubbles on them where you can sew your badges!
When you join us, we will ask that your baby wears a double nappy system You may also want a wetsuit or warm in one if your little one feels the cold! You may also like to consider a changing mat for the pool.
In Week 7 of your lessons, you will get the chance to go underwater with your baby so you may need some goggles - clear, easy to release ones work really well and they are worth wearing around your little one so they get used to seeing you in them!
All these products are available from your local office on 01295709221 or direct from our website
Top tip for you!
A tiny baby may need feeding prior to their lesson - this is not a problem and we are happy for yu to feed your baby 20 minutes prior to class. Once they are on solids, they should be fed at least 60 minutes before class.
Bring a hat for your baby, particularly in the winter months; babies loose heat through their heads so we need to keep them warm!
Bring a drink for your baby for after swimming - it's a great habit to get into.
