With programmes and CPDs they ensure everyone involved in the delivery of swimming is highly trained to enable safe, enjoyable and successful experiences for all.

To do that, we work with decision makers across national, regional and local governments to ensure swimming is taught in primary schools, it is seen as a way of supporting the NHS, and that local communities have access to the swimming pools they deserve. We also support the swimming providers with information on facilities and best practice.

Our research team provides detailed information about the people who go swimming – and those that don’t – to help develop new initiatives that encourage more people to take advantage of the many health and wellbeing benefits of swimming.

Swim England Qualifications (SEQ) is the awarding organisation for Swim England and offer  industry-leading qualifications which can be taken at any of our 26 Approved Training Centres, who have over 320 sites across England, Wales and Overseas.

The courses offer the latest technical and teaching content, are recognised for their quality and help create confident and enthusiastic swimming teachers.

SEQ have been awarded ‘Enhancing’ status by CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity), following a Quality Assurance review. The status is the highest level of recognition reflecting our commitment to providing excellence in the sector. The award recognises best practices across all operations, processes and procedures showcasing our dedication to providing a high standard of service.
