Baby swimming with Water Babies is an exciting, enriching experience for both you and your little one. Not only does it teach vital life skills, but it also enhances the way babies and toddlers learn other skills, too. No one else reaches our high standards of professionalism, and no one else works harder to make sure you and your little one feel happy and safe. And we always incorporate lots of bonding, fun and socialising, so you can be sure that a Water Baby is a happy baby!
Classes across Warwickshire are run by Kate & Christine Gore, a mother & daughter team who share a passion for swimming. A competitive swimmer since childhood, Kate was determined to get her son, Spencer, in the water as early as possible. “I’d seen an article about Water Babies in a magazine a few years earlier,” she recalls, “and knew even then that this was something I’d want to do when I had children of my own.” Sure enough, Spencer’s first dip with Water Babies was in a toasty warm pool when he was just 8 weeks old, and a month later Kate started her training to be a Water Babies teacher.
Meanwhile, mum Christine has been enjoying sharing the weekly classes with her grandson, and now her granddaughter, Felicity. “Being confident in water and able to swim from an early age has always been important to me,” she explains, “and I was the one who taught Kate to swim when she was little. I’ve really loved being involved in Spencer and Felicity’s lessons, it’s such a special time for us each week.”
Both agree that they love seeing the little ones achieve fantastic things on their own. “They literally beam from ear to ear when they grasp a new skill,” Kate continues, “and it’s incredible to watch them journey from splashy beginnings through to becoming swimming superstars!”
Christine’s keeping her feet firmly on dry land for now and will be on hand to answer all your queries in the office, joined by Kate when she’s not teaching. They’d love to hear from you, so why not give them a call? You can find them on Facebook at Water Babies (Warwickshire), where you'll find a warm welcome waiting for you.
