Baby swimming with Water Babies is an exciting, enriching experience for both you and your little one. Not only does it teach vital life skills, but it also enhances the way babies and toddlers learn other skills, too. No one else reaches our high standards of professionalism, and no one else works harder to make sure you and your little one feel happy and safe. And we always incorporate lots of bonding, fun and socialising, so you can be sure that a Water Baby is a happy baby!
Classes across Lincolnshire are run by Jo Bilbie, who was originally introduced to the concept of baby swimming through taking her daughter, Isla, to classes when she was just 6 weeks old. “Growing up, I’d never been a particularly keen swimmer,” Jo confesses, “but when a snorkelling trip in The Maldives opened up a whole new underwater world to me, I was determined to make sure my children got the opportunity to swim as early as possible.”
Jo was hooked after the first lesson and made the decision to train as a baby swimming teacher – which she duly did 3 months later (whilst having another Water Baby of her own) - and she’s been completely in love with teaching lots of happy babies and toddlers to swim ever since.
“Both as a parent and a teacher, the classes are the highlight of my week,” Jo explains. “I love helping the little ones progress each and every week, and for me, it’s magical to watch them underwater, discovering an exciting new world!”
When she’s not teaching, Jo will be joined in the office by the wonderfully enthusiastic Sophia, while a team of highly qualified teachers completes the Water Babies crew.
They’d love to hear from you, so why not give them a call? Or check out the banter on the Water Babies Lincolnshire Facebook page.
