Baby swimming with Water Babies is an exciting, enriching experience for both you and your little one. Not only does it teach vital life skills, but it also enhances the way babies and toddlers learn other skills, too. No one else reaches our high standards of professionalism, and no one else works harder to make sure you and your little one feel happy and safe. And we always incorporate lots of bonding, fun and socialising, so you can be sure that a Water Baby is a happy baby!
Steven and Jessica Pugh are delighted to be running Water Babies classes across Dorset and Salisbury. A career as an Army Officer for Steven meant that the family had to up sticks and move every two years. But wherever they were, they always sought out their nearest Water Babies classes for their two girls, Esme and Darcey.
“Growing up, I was never a big fan of water,” admits Jessica, “and I didn’t want Esme to be the same – I really wanted her to be confident in the water. So when I saw an ad for Water Babies I went along, and was hooked from the first lesson!”
Moving every couple of years meant the family had to constantly start new friendships. “That’s another thing we found with Water Babies,” Steven continues. “Life as a new parent can often be fairly isolating, but when you add in regular moves to new parts of the country it can be even harder. At Water Babies, there’s a real sense of camaraderie at lessons, making them a great way of making new friends.”
Besides Jessica and Steven, the friendly team includes the wonderfully enthusiastic Becky and Emily in the office, while a team of highly qualified teachers – alongside Jessica you’ll find Vicki, Natalie, Karen, Lindsey, Dominique, Sarah and Lisa - completes the Water Babies crew. They’d love to hear from you, so why not give them a call? Or check out the banter on the Water Babies Dorset Facebook page.
