We’re all most impressed by what Stephanie Girard used to do. Before life as a baby swimming instructor/ mother (Justine 5, Antoine 3) she worked as a designer for both Prada and Ferrari (and still has the shoes to prove it; but sadly not the car).
Steph originally trained as a swimming instructor way back in 1990 in her native Montreal. However, it wasn’t until the birth of Antoine that she attended baby swimming lessons and was reminded just how much fun mucking around in water could be.
Together with her husband Nicolas (the most Breton of Frenchmen), the family relocated from Bristol to Devon in April 2006, lured no doubt by the smell of the surf and distant views of the French coast. Now, with over 400 hundred clients, we're delighted the family has now been joined by a delightful team of instructors: Zoe King, Emma Palmer, Ursula Enever, Naomi Cook, Julia Cox, Sarah Holton, Kerry Clayton and James McCarthy, as well as the lovely Anna keeping things calm in the office and wowing everyone with her prowess at Excel!
