Baby swimming in Oxford

Having spent eight years as a physiotherapist specialising in orthopaedics, it's no surprise that Saz Sunthareswaran was keen to start swimming with first daughter, Sophia, as soon as she could. So impressed was she that after her first lesson she came straight home and looked into training as a Water Babies instructor, little imagining that within the year she'd have fully qualified and bought the company too!
Husband and vascular surgeon, Rame, is more at home in theatre blues than swim shorts; freely admitting that he loves the drama of 'all that blood'. Thankfully he showed his more romantic side six years ago when he crossed paths with the resident physio on Ward 17. In true ER style, they got together at the hospital ball shortly afterwards.
Saz wins the prize as the busiest Water Babies mum out there. Since taking over the business in 2008, she's doubled the size of it, as well as having not one, but two new little girls: Alisha, who arrived in 2009 and Jasmine in 2010. Now that's what we call impressive!
Thankfully she also has a bit of help these days, with Nicki, Kate, Catherine and little Sharon ensuring the office runs smoothly, as well as Vicky, Marie, Davina, Amie, Lynsey, Meggie and Claire teaching in the pools.
