We never intended to franchise Water Babies when we started out. However, when Jess’ sister in Bristol and friends in Edinburgh wanted to join us it seemed the most logical way of expanding the company, ensuring that the same standards and practices were implemented across the board. As a franchisee you have the autonomy and excitement of running your own business, coupled with the help and collective support of working within a carefully constructed and well-proven framework.

Since starting Water Babies in 2002 our growth has been rapid and we currently have nineteen franchise areas across the UK, teaching more than 10,000 babies a week. Nearly all of our franchisees were originally either Water Babies clients or Water Babies instructors – something of which we’re very proud.
